Properly aligned teeth do more than improve your smile. They also contribute to healthy jaw function, balanced bite forces, comfortable chewing, and better long-term oral health.
At Dental Wellness Arts, our orthodontic and bite therapy services focus on treating the underlying causes of misalignment, teeth grinding, TMJ disorders, and airway concerns. Rather than focusing solely on straightening teeth, we evaluate how your bite, jaw joints, muscles, and airway work together to create lasting function and comfort.
Whether you're considering Invisalign, treatment for TMJ pain, or solutions for chronic teeth grinding, our personalized approach is designed to improve both your smile and your quality of life.

TMJ disorders affect the temporomandibular joint, the hinge connecting your jaw to your skull, and can cause chronic pain, clicking, headaches, ear symptoms, and difficulty chewing. Our evaluation includes a full assessment of your bite, jaw range of motion, muscle palpation, and joint sounds, supported by 3D cone beam imaging. Treatment may include custom occlusal splints, bite adjustment, or a coordinated rehabilitation plan depending on the severity and cause of your symptoms.
Chronic grinding wears down enamel, cracks teeth, and strains the jaw joints over time. Many patients grind at night without realizing it until significant damage has occurred. We diagnose bruxism through a thorough bite analysis and offer custom nightguards, occlusal adjustment, and in some cases bite rehabilitation to relieve pressure, protect your teeth, and address the root causes of the grinding pattern.
When your bite is even slightly off, the uneven forces can cause headaches, jaw pain, premature tooth wear, and contribute to TMJ problems. Occlusal adjustment is a precise reshaping of the biting surfaces of specific teeth to distribute force evenly and restore a balanced, comfortable bite. It is often a core component of both TMJ treatment and bite rehabilitation.
We offer Invisalign clear aligner therapy for adults and teens seeking a discreet, comfortable way to straighten their teeth. Our approach is airway-aware, meaning we consider your bite, jaw position, and breathing function as part of the treatment plan, not just aesthetics.

Our approach goes beyond simply straightening teeth. We evaluate your bite, jaw function, and airway to create personalized treatment plans that improve comfort, function, and long-term oral health.
