Biological dentistry starts with the understanding that the materials and methods used in your mouth affect your entire body. We take a careful, research-informed approach to every material we use and every procedure we recommend.

Holistic and biological dentistry treat the mouth as part of the whole person, not in isolation. This means considering how dental materials, procedures, and oral inflammation interact with your immune system, hormones, heart, and gut. Dr. Boyajian uses biocompatible materials, minimally invasive techniques, and natural antimicrobial therapies to care for your teeth while actively supporting your overall health. Our practice philosophy is built on the idea that optimal oral health and optimal body health are the same goal.

We are a mercury-safe practice. For patients with existing amalgam (silver) fillings, we use the SMART protocol — Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique — to remove old fillings safely and minimize your exposure to mercury vapor throughout the process. Our office uses rubber dams, high-volume suction, supplemental oxygen, and protective barriers to protect patients, staff, and the environment.
For patients who need full or partial tooth replacement without a fixed prosthesis, we offer metal-free dentures crafted from biocompatible materials. These eliminate the concerns associated with metal components, look natural, and feel more comfortable than conventional options.
We incorporate ozone therapy into nearly every treatment we perform. Ozone is a powerful, all-natural antimicrobial agent that kills bacteria, viruses, and fungi without harsh chemicals. It promotes healthy tissue regeneration and is used as a rinse, applied topically, and delivered during procedures to support your body's natural healing.
Every crown, filling, and restoration we place is made with BPA-free, metal-free materials selected for their biocompatibility. We use ceramic, composite, and zirconia-based options that work with your body rather than against it.
Your saliva carries valuable information about the bacterial environment in your mouth and its connection to systemic health. Saliva testing identifies bacterial strains linked to gum disease, decay, and even cardiovascular and metabolic conditions, helping us build a prevention plan that addresses root causes.
We offer LifeWave phototherapy patches as part of our commitment to whole-body wellness. This non-invasive technology uses light to stimulate the body's own regenerative processes, supporting healing, reducing inflammation, and promoting cellular energy alongside your dental care.
